de·ter·mi·na·tion: the act of deciding definitely and firmly ; also : the result of such an act of decision b: firm or fixed intention to achieve a desired end determination> This last week I was able to go to a business meeting, if you'd call it that, that was for women only. We talked about one certain topic and it was determination. We learned about the two people in the video at the bottom. Then talked about what we thought was the mountain in our life that we aren't climbing but digging a hole in front of. I think we can all learn some valuable lessons from watching this, for me it gave me a new front on life for 2009. I can not thank one of our amazing mentors Brittney Starnes for the empowerment she can give with a few simple words after we watched the video. We joined up with an awesome community of people that have made Ryan and I grow and be empowered to do great things. Thanks Brittney and everyone in Nouveau that are making our lives better! "So what is your mountain?" www.teamhoyt.com Some facts for you.. they were laughed and mocked in their first race and finished second to last... Dick hadn't rode a bike since he was six years old... Dick had also never swam before he started doing this.. Rick is currently working at Boston College designing a wheel chair that will move with movements of your eyes... They now finish in the top 25% of most races they run...

Valentines Day...

So this year for Valentines Day, Ryan works usually till late on Saturdays so I decided I'd watch Averie for Alex and Cinda so they could go to a movie. She is a doll!! We called her Yoda half the night cuz she just stares at ya with her big blue eyes. I'm glad they let us watch her! But as I walked in from work you see what Ryan had laid out. I had been asking him to download the Coldplay CD for me, but instead he got me the two CD's they have out at the moment. Which is an awesome CD if you couldn't tell by the crazy amount of Grammy's it got. I ended up getting him a new coat and the two Fantastic Four movies along wtih Tristan and Isolde. They were kinda for me in the same cuz those are some of my favorite movies. We had Kel over for Valentines dinner but ended up just calling it a family dinner. Ryan got home early and we just chilled watched a movie or two and set my parents up a blog :) Which was Hilarious!!! I stole the music for my page that my mom wanted haha but we worked it out :) It was a great Valentines Day!!! (My mom got her hair done as well! I think it looks really really good!!!)

Fun with the boys..

So this week marks two years since my uncle passed away in a car crash and its still pretty tragic for our whole family. Don't think it will ever really not be tragic, but we try to have some fun and let the boys get out some stress :)

My aunt went out on a date and we took the boys to Toads in Ogden. Ryan and I had been there before for work and had a blast so we decided to take them. We started just playing inside on the arcade stuff and you can see we had a BLAST.

It was kinda chilly so the go-karts didn't last long but we had a great time. Ryan got the super slow one the first time and almost got lapped haha.. the next time I got it thats why I actually got pic

But mini golf was HILARIUS! Chal hit the ball once and decided that golf was stupid. Why try and hit the ball in the hole when you can put it in there with your hands?? haha He had alot of fun checking out the place though it was set up like a rain forest so he had a blast.
