There are some fun deals at Smith's this week. I went today and got 3 Trident Gum for a total of .10! There is a $2 off 3 coupon that was in the paper and is about to expire so use it if you haven't already. Then there is solo cups and plates you end up getting for .75 a piece with a printed coupon and Romano Meals that are OK cheap with a printed coupon. Their Carving Meats from Oscar Meyer are DELICIOUS we tried them tonight and are cheaper than the regular meats with a coupon from the smart source a while back. Sorry I don't have the exact dates on the coupons, but I do have the links for the printed coupons if you want them!! Happy Savings!

above is about....136.00. HOORAY!!!

It is crazy to think that Korver is already a year old. I will try to update some more pictures of the fun things we did this last year, but for now here is some BDay Pics.

His cousin Kylie was a great help getting his gifts open, they both loved it. Grandma has lots better pictures that will hopefully be posted soon, but had to get a few on here since its been quite a while. So here are a few, more to come!!! Promise haha

St. George Trip...

We got to go to St. George for a baptism and we had a blast. After the baptism and lunch we went with Kearney, Bryn and Dustin to a little water park and then crack in the rock?? I think thats what they call it. Anyways it was a blast. Korver loved the water, thank goodness because it down poured on us. Here are a few pictures. We decided it was time for a fire, its one of Ryan's favorite things. Korver had on pajama bottoms with jeans over his onesie, a pajama shirt, a sweatshirt, socks and shoes, and socks on the hands because mom was scared of him getting cold. He stayed super warm and loved it, maybe not as much as his dad though. Now he is ready for a fishing or camping trip.

I have been super lucky to have known a few of my great grandparents. My great grandma was so very excited to have her first great great :) We actually picked Korver partly because she is such a big Jazz fan! Korver was also my grandma Helen's first great grandchild, so they were very excited when he finally got here. Here are some pics of them with the baby and my great grandpa John as well. So we have had quite a few visitors since we got home from the hospital and we tried to remember to take pics of all of them :) I missed a few though sorry those of you who came and didn't get your picture taken. The pictures are just too cute not to post. These two cousins I have a feeling are going to be in trouble a lot together. Kearney and Bryn came and visited with their little guy Dustin. Korver got lucky to have three cousins within six months of him and has one other cousin only a few years older than him. I have a feeling the Wood parties will be crazy here in a few years. Averie loved to help with him, she is such a good little sharer. Bre'Kel was adorable when she was holding him. Sorry Rod and Riss the picture is kinda blurry. Ryan's parents were able to come up as well and he loved his grandma and grandpa. Thanks everyone for the calls, texts and visits. We appreciate it greatly.

We ended up staying an extra night at the hospital because he was jaundice, so we had to go get it checked the day after we got home. After the foot poke and a half hour we found out he had to sleep on a light all night long. Not what you want to hear, not at all. You can see how orange he was in the first picture. It was kinda cute though to see him in his little doctor outfit :) He did surprisingly well just laying there we are lucky that he don't like to be wrapped tight. Thank goodness we only had to have it for one night and now he is losing the orange look.

Ryan had never changed a diaper until the day he was born in the hospital. He honestly has done amazing helping and Korver gets less upset when Dad is changing the diaper. The first one he changed when we got home though was hilarious for all us watching. My mom was lucky enough to have had her camera out to take pics as we walked in the door, and this is the aftermath. John jokingly said "ready, aim, fire Korver" and Korver is already listening to uncle John :) Ryan wasn't for sure quite what to do because he didn't want to dirty the clean diaper in his hands so he just watched ha ha. Obviously it has happened many times after that but not on cue and with that great of accuracy.

First Doctor Visit

It's always a good thing when this is the happy face you get when your at the doctor. haha The nurse there wanted to send a pic to her mother in law who I used to work with so we used the scale as a background. He only lost 3 ounces and gained a half an inch. He is in the 65th percentile for his weight and the 65th for his height. We go in again on Monday to see how much he has gained. He is supposed to gain an ounce a day so we are shooting for 9 lbs 5 ounces.

Well finally after the 9 long months we have our little boy! It was a long 16 hours of labor thank goodness for the epidural or I don't think I would have made it through. All was well when he came out the big boy came out screaming. That didn't last for long though they called in the NICU why I was getting all fixed up. They didn't like the coloring of his nose and mouth. So I didn't see baby up close other than him being sat on me why Ryan cut the cord for about 5 hours. Here is a picture that Ryan got in the NICU. Then as you can see by the next picture, he decided that we all wanted to stay an extra night in the hospital. Needless to say that its a good thing there was a deck of cards and a checkerboard in the gift shop. We weren't too excited to stay another night but the weather was horrid and he was pretty cheese nip.

We called him our alien baby. We had a blue light that was like a rope light we had to keep around him all night. After a long night the next day we headed home!! These are the pics we took before we left the hospital. We LOVE having him around. Yes its a big change but I can't imagine him not being around. We haven't even had him two weeks yet but it feels like forever. We love love love him!!

Well we decided since we hadn't taken any pregnant pictures that we would do family pictures today. John is amazing! He had looked around to find a few places to go and we did them today, the day before we have baby haha. You can tell how much I didn't want to take pictures, but I am very glad we did :) This is our favorites, ryan's first, then mine. We go in to the hospital in less than twelve hours, we are both super excited and super nervous. The next post will be of Korver Ryan Wood. Hooray!!

2 Year Anniversary...

VEGAS BABY!!!

So since I had never been to Vegas and we knew it would be a while before we could travel with the baby, we went south this year for the anniversary. We stayed at the Luxor, Awesome! We started at the Luxor and then headed down the strip that night.

We made it to the Coca Cola factory and was thirsty so we decided to try drinks from 16 different countries. Needles to say, I'm very happy to live in the US with normal coke haha There was some good ones but there was also some very very bad ones. It was fun to take a break and laugh alot :)

The next thing we did was stop and watch the water shows at the Bellagio. WOW! We got to hear I think 3 different songs. We would stop there when we needed a break and being pregnant walking the strip.. well we stopped a few times to watch the show. I think it was the coolest thing we ended up seeing in Vegas.

So since we had came in and were just hunting at night we were able to go down to Jodi's house for dinner. Let me just tell you her husband is a lucky guy! It was so so good! We had a blast! You won't get any of the inside jokes but we all ended up waxing our eyebrows (elbows as Ryan would say) we talked about anything under the sun and had a great great time. Bryn had the baby asleep so she ended up not coming and Jared was traveling for work so we missed those two but we still had fun laughing with and at each other :)

Deer Hunt...

I have so so very much to catch up on! Last weekend we got to go all week off work for the deer hunt. We started out at the ranch actually camping and doing the get up early deer hunting, but I never got any pictures :( We had a blast though. His dad was with us every night and helped us find the deer. We had dinner with Matt and Maralyn one night and Hal, Kearney, Bryn, Dustin and Joe and Britannia came out as well so we had a whole bunch of fun. To make a long story real short, we decided to just make a quick run without breakfast to see if we could find anything oh don't worry the time you don't eat Ryan and Joe hit one. Supposedly a monster but no one else saw its horns haha. They tracked it for over 3 hours why Britannia and I were the road drivers. We ended up not being able to find the deer (there were so many elk tracks in there that they had a hard time tracking) and after that we were pretty much hunted out, so we came back into town and hung out all day then hunted at night usually. Well behind Ryan's house his dad found a few buck that we were able to get one morning and then closing day I got mine with Ben, our hunting guide and good friend. It was a blast, we laughed so so hard and got some good meat can't say they are trophies but it was fun to be off work and see family and friends. Ryan and Randy's Deer

So the last few weekends we have been going out to get wood. Our family loves to go out and relax haha well thats what I've been getting to do :) We have a lot of fun doing it. Ryan and I only got to go one weekend but I thouht I'd put some pictures up from each week. The last week they went it snowed on em! You can see my dad cutting a big one down in the snow. We have some friends out by where we get wood that we have been friends with forever! They moved away from Bear River and we moved into Brigham but we still try to get together every once and a while and getting wood was how we did it this year. This is princess Bre'Kell haha and My mom with Harlee underneath. They have one other little girl named Oakley. We always have a blast when we are with them.

This is consistent with what I got to do when we went, but it was still a lot of fun to drive out and laugh all day long. Mostly at my Ryan, He does some funny things for sure :) He don't like pictures much so you won't see him looking at the camera. You don't see alot of my mom either because she is usually the one behind the camera. We had a lot of fun. They cut only a few trees, but cut some big ones that filled up the truck pretty dang fast. It was a fun trip, I'm glad we get to go do stuff with my family. Next weekend is the deer hunt and we get to go down south this year, so hopefully we'll get to spend a lot of time with Ryan's side and get two big bucks!

Catch Up..

Well its been a very long time since we updated our page so we'll just do a quick summary :) We went to the fireworks on the 4th over in logan. Our little family did a little cook out in the back of the truck. My dad and John did a little wrestling, I'm not sure who won :) We had a blast!

Ryan turned 22 on the 9th so we went out shooting at my parents and he shot my mom's bow as well as the regular guns. He did really well and had a real good time. We also had a little surprise party for him up at the Mantua campgrounds with some of his friends.

And the very last update which we are most excited about :) We are having a BOY! I don't have the pictures from the last two ultrasounds cuz I am too lazy to upload them, but everyone can now know we are having a little BOY!

So this is our newest soon to be edition :) We tried to get it so you can hear the heartbeat. We are very very excited!! The due date is January 6, 2010. We get a new ultrasound everytime we go in so we'll try and keep it updated for everyone to see. I've been not feeling so good but hoping I get used to it or learn the tricks to pretending like I feel fine haha.

Nouveau Riche..

So I should have posted about our new lifestyle long ago but after reading one of our friends about Nouveau I had to post!! We have been to Arizona three times now for an amazing college all about real estate investing. We went to our first one last October and the latest the week before Easter. WE LOVE IT!! We paid for both Ryan and I to go for two years and I'm sure we'll keep paying to go after that. It is 6 days of classes day and night you choose what you want to learn and how many classes you want to take. The instructors are experts in the fields they are teaching, you learn so so much information your brain hurts!

We have grown up so much from the info we have learned but a lot of personal growth from being allowed to dream :) We have a dream board that shows what we would do and have if money was no option and that is a fun fun thing to do!! We also have some great relationships with other investors, that are like family now. Each of them is like another mentor you can call and ask questions or partner up to do a deal with. It's a great community for investors and business owners.

These are some of the pictures from all three colleges :) As you notice we aren't all work down there haha we have TOO much fun when we go down. Ryan and I usually take one day to go shopping and just play, but we usually barbecue after classes and play cash flow, or banannagrams! I'm bad with pictures so you'll just have to check out our friends' blogs for more pics!

The place we stayed at was amazing! we went on a midnight swim in the rain :)

Its been a long while since I've posted anything and its seems like so much has happened, but not alot that I got pictures of?? Joe and Britannia came up and stayed with us, but no pictures I'm not very good at remembering that :) We had a blast though we played A LOT of Halo3 which was fun but did some other fun stuff as well haha

The pics I do have are of Prom. No not for me but John and Kel!! We love these two they both looked amazing and I think they had a good time..Oh and her corsaige? If thats how you spell it, was done at Bowcutt Floral.. WOW!! It lit up! We called it her tracker so John could keep track of her but they did a great job on it. You can't see it very well though I'm not the greatest picture taker haha

I got a good one of little Taralyn :) although not so little anymore! She is growing like a weed!! And last but surely not least, we all spent a very very long day at Primary Children's. Love the hospital it does AMAZING things but it drains ya. John had another heart surgery that lasted for about 5 hours after he came around, then had to stay in bed for 4 hours before he could move. They went up his vein in one leg and an artery in the other to search through his heart basicaly. They found another spot in his heart that liked to jump into another beat pattern. We monitored it all last week and caught his heart rate at 270 which is outrageous. We are very lucky and thankful for the doctors and nurses (We had an awesome one!) They fixed him all back up and hopefully never have to endure another long day at the hospital!!!

Cedar Trip...

So we had to go down to Cedar this weekend for Ryan's grandpa's funeral. We decided to make it a weekend trip and have some fun along with the funeral. We stayed with Joe and Britannia two of the greatest friends in the world! We took over the house haha only in the making it a mess department :) But we had a blast! Kearney and Bryn came over and we grilled two nights, Halo 3 was on pretty much all the time and the boys were crazy. FYI the myth of cell phone waves popping a popcorn kernel..totally busted..I forgot my camera this trip or you could have seen all the other fun things we did. I did get a video of Joe and Ryan making snow angels haha. The funeral went really well, the things little kids say make it really cool. His little cousin was very worried about what they were going to do to grandpa. They explained they were tucking him in and then were going to bury him and he said "so Heavenly Father can come get him?". Later on at the cemetery he was worried and his little cousin turned around and assured him "its ok, we'll always be family" pretty annoyed he didn't understand it. Little kids know so much and teach us so much from being so innocent. Anyways it was a fun weekend we miss everyone in Cedar!

We talked about one certain topic and it was determination. We learned about the two people in the video at the bottom. Then talked about what we thought was the mountain in our life that we aren't climbing but digging a hole in front of. I think we can all learn some valuable lessons from watching this, for me it gave me a new front on life for 2009. I can not thank one of our amazing mentors Brittney Starnes for the empowerment she can give with a few simple words after we watched the video. We joined up with an awesome community of people that have made Ryan and I grow and be empowered to do great things. Thanks Brittney and everyone in Nouveau that are making our lives better! I hope you guys like the video. When your done watching think of what Brittney said to us. "So what is your mountain?" www.teamhoyt.com Some facts for you.. they were laughed and mocked in their first race and finished second to last... Dick hadn't rode a bike since he was six years old... Dick had also never swam before he started doing this.. Rick is currently working at Boston College designing a wheel chair that will move with movements of your eyes... They now finish in the top 25% of most races they run...

Valentines Day...

So this year for Valentines Day, Ryan works usually till late on Saturdays so I decided I'd watch Averie for Alex and Cinda so they could go to a movie. She is a doll!! We called her Yoda half the night cuz she just stares at ya with her big blue eyes. I'm glad they let us watch her! But as I walked in from work you see what Ryan had laid out. I had been asking him to download the Coldplay CD for me, but instead he got me the two CD's they have out at the moment. Which is an awesome CD if you couldn't tell by the crazy amount of Grammy's it got. I ended up getting him a new coat and the two Fantastic Four movies along wtih Tristan and Isolde. They were kinda for me in the same cuz those are some of my favorite movies. We had Kel over for Valentines dinner but ended up just calling it a family dinner. Ryan got home early and we just chilled watched a movie or two and set my parents up a blog :) Which was Hilarious!!! I stole the music for my page that my mom wanted haha but we worked it out :) It was a great Valentines Day!!! (My mom got her hair done as well! I think it looks really really good!!!)

So this week marks two years since my uncle passed away in a car crash and its still pretty tragic for our whole family. Don't think it will ever really not be tragic, but we try to have some fun and let the boys get out some stress :)

My aunt went out on a date and we took the boys to Toads in Ogden. Ryan and I had been there before for work and had a blast so we decided to take them. We started just playing inside on the arcade stuff and you can see we had a BLAST.

It was kinda chilly so the go-karts didn't last long but we had a great time. Ryan got the super slow one the first time and almost got lapped haha.. the next time I got it thats why I actually got pic

But mini golf was HILARIUS! Chal hit the ball once and decided that golf was stupid. Why try and hit the ball in the hole when you can put it in there with your hands?? haha He had alot of fun checking out the place though it was set up like a rain forest so he had a blast.

So I am gonna try so put all the pictures at the right and see if it works better because this picture thing is driving me crazy! So over the Thanksgiving weekend we played a lot of Rockband 2. This is the family band :) There is even a video at the end. I won't go into detail about all the pictures just check em out!

We had so so much fun we played all day long! We got everyone to play it. I think we are the best looking band, maybe not the best but we made it look good!

So I'm gonna have to go in reverse for a few posts to catch up on our exciting things in life :) This is the Idaho Falls Temple. AMAZING! We spent our first anniversary in Idaho Falls. The room we were supposed to stay in the first night ended up being not as nice as we had hoped but it was good enough to sleep in. We got up and went to a session at the temple, it was awesome. Then we headed to our super nice room. haha

........................................ We stayed in the Pirate Suite for our honeymoon so we tried the Caveman Suite this time. We had a blast. The water came from the ceiling in the tub/shower, and it felt like real rock. We had the leopard print bed and the fireplace, and you can see our Rockband 2 in the background. One of our other traditions is we get a new game we play every anniversary. We had a blast, we ate at Red Lobster and enjoyed our first year!!

New Years Resolutions.

We came up with our New Years Resolutions. If we post them we hope it will help us keep them :)

Both of Us

Up by 7:30 a.m every to go on a walk. (It was gonna be run but its too cold for that)

Read at least 2 chapters in the BOM. Finnish it by mid year.

Follow the newly set budget.

Have the dishes done before playing xbox, watching tv or a movie.

Ryan- Be a little better everyday.

The New Year!

This year Christmas was spent up here with my family so we took a quick trip down on New Years to celebrate Christmas with our family down south. We spent the New Year with Joe and Brittania I didn't do very well taking pictures haha they are kinda blurry but here are a few of them...

The boys decided to play some Starcraft, all night long. haha Not really but as you can tell me and Brittania got pretty bored and started decorating ourselves with the confetti. We had a blast with those guys it was a GREAT way to start a New Year.

We rotate families of who we all get gifts so we opened those and had some hamburgers and hot dogs. Derek wasn't feeling the greatest so he is inside with grandma why we all shot for a bit.

This is Kearney with the PS90. The boys seem to really like this gun :) Here is Randy with it too.

We all had a blast shooting. We love making the trip down there, even if it was a quick trip. We love our family down there we hope they all know that!

Wedding...

So since I am a slacker and still haven't gotten my thank you notes out to all my bridesmaids and groomsmen and family, which they are done just have to catch up with you all now, but i decided I'd post some of the wedding pics I'm not sure if anyone has really seen them.

The first few are of my CRAZY two nephews and their AMAZING mother. They were two of the cutest little studs there. Chalis rode home with us from the luncheon after and ended up falling asleep but it kept me and Ryan from pulling off the road somewhere :) Kalee is one of my hero's so having her there and supportive of us was huge. Ryan and I love her and her family so much it was great to have them there with us.

The next ones are of my family. I don't really have words to explain how happy I am my brother was there. We made the mistake of not getting him a tux but he looked amazing and was quite the entertainment :) He did so much getting the whole thing ready we can't thank him enough. He is my best friend and will always have to be whether he likes it or not.

This is gonna end up being a massive post sorry but its kinda fun reliving your wedding :) The other people in our family obviously is my parents. We couldn't have made the wedding work without them. They put a lot of time and effort into everything you see. I love them and hope me and Ryan can follow in their footsteps.

You've got my great-grandparents here which is awesome that I still have them around to hang out with. You end up having a party when they are around I'm glad they got to share our wedding with us. Then you have my grandma. Again how amazing it was to have her there. She gave me some of the best advice throughout the wedding. The wedding wouldn't have been the same without her there. She even danced with us!!

And then my dads side we had those grandparents. They had a trip planned to Arizona but Ryan and I kinda ruined those plans so I'm glad they came. It would have been weird to just have to show them pictures and try to explain how happy we were. They have supported us through so much and never think twice and I thank them so much for that. My aunt Charlotte is the one behind the scenes who helped with everything. From finding the table clothes to getting the desert ready!! She is a great aunt who let us use her back yard which is gorgeous for some pictures as well. She has taught me a lot back from when I was little. Here is the whole clan of Ryan. You have his mom and dad first. I'm so glad that they traveled up to everything. We have made that drive plenty of times and understand its not very fun. I feel super comfortable around them and am glad I got the inlaws I have couldn't have asked for better. I don't think we have individual pictures of his brothers so i'll just try to throw some in there. I don't have the pics to the cedar reception they are on my parents computer or I would have more pics but Tyrell is married to JaNell and have a cute little man Derek. They have been so good to us. We always have a place to stay when we are down there which is so so nice. They have been so good to support us through it all and JaNell made all the food for Cedar which we both actually got to taste and was AMAZING! We miss not being closer to them. Kearney you see but I don't have any pictures of Bryn again because I don't have to Cedar pics but they got married just after us and I am so thankful for those two. Ryan rely's so much on his older brothers and I'm glad because they are a great example. They did get prego before us though :) haha I'm so so very excited for them!! You have amber who I don't have a pic of her husband you all know why by now. They also got married right after us. Her and Rich are so much fun to be around. We haven't got to hang out a whole bunch with them since we are up here but hopefully we'll get to chill more often, we miss out on a lot. And lastly is Mike and Angela. These two have so much in common its been good for me and Ryan to watch their marriage work. They are a great example of hard work as well. They both have already graduated from college that is awesome. We wish we were down closer to be around everyone more. Then we have Ryan's Grandparents. Their anniversary is the same day as ours. I wish we got to spend more time with them. Im sure they could teach us so much about how to live our lives. They are amazing people and also gave us some good advice we will use daily. Here is all our bridesmaid and groomsmen all together. These pics turned out real good. My aunt taking the pics always does such a good job I'm glad she was able to do all the pics for us. Riss.. Ryan loved what you said to him dancing! Probably one of his favorite parts of the wedding. She was super sick all week before the wedding so I am SO glad she and Rodney was there to spend the day with us, and drive to Cedar as well! We miss you two badly! Cinda.. Poor pregnant woman that never once complained! Thank you.. You know all the reasons why and so many I could never tell you. You and Alex mean alot to us and now Averie. We live so close we have no excuse why we dont hang out more!!! Becky.. Its amazing how we got to be friends and thank you for all you did for me down in Cedar. You were a big sister down there and Ryan and I still consider you our sister. Thanks for all the help at the wedding. You transported our cake safely and we appreciate that :) along with everything else you did for us. Brand.. Yours could go on for years. You did my wedding. You put all your time into and and we loved it! Thank you and your family for the friendship we have and you especially for the help you gave me with finding the man of my life :) We love ya.. Thank you so so much. Taralyn does need to see her nanna a little more though haha Dee.. What a stud. Yes he is the Mountain Dew man.. Him and Kearney. Dee is known as the cute one :) Ryan misses his boys down there and I have to agree I miss them too.

Andrew.. He is our other brother. My family would all agree. What a stud. He will make some woman very very happy they will be lucky to have him! We miss ya Bro! I wish we could be there more often at Denny's with ya. You have Marqui and Bricki who freaking partied it up with us and help make it a party..We had too much fun laughing with them. Then Kristy, who yes is much shorter than John but oh well haha we still love our midgets :) She is the party! We don't get to spend the time we would like to with all our friends. There is Jeff and Lainey, Lainey is the amazing one who took all the pictures you are looking at. Although I think they taught my husband how to be a provert we still love em :) Thanks for being there to help with it all. Cassie is in there too! She is the cousin to go to for fun and her family is so much fun to be around. Thanks guys!

These are my second parents!! I do not give these two enough credit as they deserve and my husband hasn't even been to their house that tells you how lazy you become after your married.. haha I am so very glad they made it.. I love em!

The other ones I don't have picture of I still have to mention! Britannia, Shelly, and Sydney who came to everything!! We are so so glad you did. You are part of our Cedar family. Along with Brittania's family and Joe's family who made it as well. It was very appreciated! Joe who would have been to everything if not serving :) We wish we were down closer to you guys. Joe that doesn't mean that we are moving sorry :) But we do hope to be down there more often than we are now! Thanks everyone. I'm doing this why Ryan is at work, so I'm sure he'll want to put his half into all this. Sorry its a long post but it was fun to be able to show off some of the pictures and say thank you to so many people.

I know there is people I missed. The whole Lindaur Family. I can not thank you enough. You all know why we won't bring it all up but thank you!!!!! Well if your looking at the blog you probably know who we are but you get all the same info on the first post. Ryan is from Cedar and I've lived here for my whole life. We have now been married for over a year! We are loving life! We both have ok jobs, they are jobs. We have just started our own business and it will be and is changing our life for the better. I'll post some pictures later on of the trips we've went on so far to Arizona, there will lots in the future I'm sure. In the spare time we do have which isn't alot its usually spent with family, friends, or the xbox haha... Maybe one day I'll have to post our Halo 3 stats :) I don't know how much we will actually update the blog, it may be everyday or once a month ya never know.
